Each season, Home of the Good Shepherd’s culinary team partners with US Foods to showcase new food ideas that will become part of our menu. March 2nd was the perfect snowy day for our residents and community members to enjoy delicious treats from around the globe that included: Sliced Caramelized Sweet Plantains, Organic Snappy Slaw blend with Pasta, Gluten-free Chicken chucks, Banana Chocolate Swirl Cake made with Rainforest Alliance Bananas and Fair-trade Chocolate and Hibiscus Berry Iced Tea made with Rainforest Alliance Green Tea. The food show was a huge success and we are excited to add these items to spring menu.
